Outdoor fun in Florida

We recently took Parker to a splash park and we really had a great time. It is just this little play area with water shooting out of flowers and frogs and little fountains coming out of the ground to run through. It was really a hot day and it felt good to play in the water for awhile. Parker got a little bored after awhile and tried to run over to a nearby shelter where they were having a birthday party! After that we decided it was time to leave and go get some ice cream!

Recently we were working outside in the yard and Parker was really enjoying getting dirty!! He was playing with the hose and having a great time!

This was another night when I was outside working in the flower bed and doing some landscaping. Parker was picking up the palm leaves as I trimmed them and had a great time just walking around waving them. Needless to say we had to do a good bath when we got inside!

After eating breakfast Parker had a bunch of food in his hair. So, I decided to sit him at the sink and clean him up a little. He loves to sit and play with the water. He was talking to himself in the mirror and splashing in the water. Then he decided to try to stand up and slid down into the sink!! He was really laughing and having a great time!

Aunt Jodi's Visit

Jodi came to visit in early August while Tom was in Africa for two weeks. She was here for a week and we had a great time hanging out and relaxing together. And, of course Parker really enjoyed hanging out with his Aunt Jodi!

We spent a day at the beach and had a great time. It was a beautiful day! This is Parker after having oreos for a snack.

We finally found a bike helmet for Parker. If only he was always this happy when we put it on him!!

Fun at the Beach

We all went to the beach last weekend and had a blast. Parker is really starting to enjoy being in the water and playing in the sand.

Today I went into the kitchen to find Parker pushing the trash can across the floor. He is really starting to get into everything, and he is almost walking!

Parker's 1st Birthday!!

Parker had a strawberry milkshake for the first time and loved it. I think Parker got his mom's sweet tooth! He didn't want to give it back to daddy!

Tom and I got Parker this awesome bike trailer for his birthday! :) Of course we are really enjoying it too. Now we can finally go biking as a family!

Parker really enjoys his new gift from Aunt Jodi and Aunt Angela! However, right now he would rather stand beside it and start the music and dance. Every time i sit him on it he gets off! I guess he'll grow into it. He doesn't quite understand all the fun things it does yet!
